What is ephemeral shapes my efforts. I take apart and reinvent what is discarded and overlooked. My work demonstrates a post-consumer, post-experiential aesthetic and grows from moments of attention that pass daily.

Work begins with disparate items, weathered and anonymous, intercepted on their way to the landfill. Applying an intentional framework, I thread these pieces with my thoughts. The interactive relationship between artist and object is driven by the instant between awareness, disciplined spontaneity, and predilection for parts.

Woven deep into the moments of revelation is the clarity of not knowing.  The finished works move through ambiguity and tell stories that reveal a formal state of review.

To recast the value of the unnoticed, reverse aesthetic deconstruction, and construct new correlations: these principles guide my work.
